DP World, which is set to run Chattogram port’s New Mooring Container Terminal, has advertised a second batch of engineering and store roles in Chattogram: 16 vacancies across five positions, from senior leadership to officer level. All five were posted on Bdjobs on 3 November and close on 11 November.

- Education: BSc or diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
- Experience: 4–6 years
- Skills: PLC, VFD and control logic; fault diagnosis; electrical inspections; reading electrical drawings; ERP/Maximo; electrical safety including permit to work and lockout/tagout
Senior roles at a glance
- DGM – Mechanical: BSc/MSc in Mechanical Engineering; asset management and reliability, hydraulics, generators and gearboxes, shutdowns and overhauls, budgeting, CMMS (Maximo/SAP); a reliability certification is preferred.
- DGM – Electrical: BSc/MSc in EEE; PLC, VFD and automation, HV/LV power distribution, energy management, equipment modernisation, O&M cost control.
- Senior Manager, Engineering Planning: BSc/MSc in Mechanical or EEE; maintenance planning and scheduling, shutdown planning, KPI reporting, SAP/Maximo (SAP certification preferred).
- Senior Officer – Store: BSc in Materials & Metallurgical Engineering; receiving and issuing materials, stock takes, inventory records, ERP/SAP/Maximo.
