Main responsibilities
- Drive growth of the NVOCC and special equipment business, with plans to expand cargo volume, trade lane coverage and market share
- Track freight market trends, vessel capacity, carrier developments, competitors and project cargo opportunities in imports and exports
- Build relationships with shipping lines, overseas agents, NVOCC principals, project cargo stakeholders and logistics partners
- Lead negotiations on freight rates, service contracts, special equipment allocations, project cargo moves and long-term customer agreements
